Monthly Tournaments
Playing competitively in monthly tournaments may not be your thing. But that’s alright, we still need your help. Assisting with tournaments are a guaranteed way to learn the inside and outs of what it takes to host events.
Tour de Stateline
We defintely need your help when we take the Tour on the road. From setting up and breaking down baskets, to placing CTP & Tee signs, it takes a small army to make everything run smoothly.
Weekly Events
As we transition to running free weekly events* we need help. We can’t be everywhere. But with your help, Stateline’s presence will be felt all across Northern Illinois & Southern Wisconsin.
Social Media
Become part of our social media team and help spread the good word. We need you in the field to capture that Ace, show off that new disc and build excitment for everything that’s happening in the Stateline.
Course Maintenance
The number one complaint with courses is when the rough is.. well rough! Please, help be part of the solution, join our monthly work party. What it takes one person 2 hours to accomplish, five people can achieve in 20 minutes. There is strength in numbers and with the number of courses we support, we simply cannot do it without you!
Course Design
When driving down the road, do you see fairways in distant fields.. so do we! Just like us, a course is a living thing that changes through time. With Tour events on the horizon we are always looking for the next place to host an event. Be part of the team that shapes that landscape!
Sponsorship
Perhaps you simply just dont have enough hours in the day to volunteer your time. That’s alright, we still need you. Become a sponsor. Your company’s tax deductible donation can be used to sponsor events, programs and course improvement. However, you dont need to be a Season sponsor to make a difference. See a dimmly lit basket light, consider helping replace it. Can’t make a workday because of your busy schedule, help incentivise participation by ordering lunch for the group. The little things make a big difference!
Disc Return
Porter Park was known as the place where discs go to die. In just a short time, you have turned that image around by supporting the disc return. We hope to be able to establish disc returns across all the SDGA courses, but we need your help! You can be part of the team that helps reunite loved ones back to their family.
No one is good at everything, everyone is good at something.
